Training Programme on IT Security for Government Agencies — IT staff training
Take stock before the training
Do you work in IT for a beneficiary public administration or institution? This cybersecurity pre-assessment test guides you, track by track, towards the path that suits you for the in-person training. It is not an exam: no score is shown to you.
- 80 questions
- about 80 minutes
- pause and resume freely

-
Guidance, not a grade
You don't see a score: you receive one recommendation for each track.
-
At your own pace
Stop whenever you like: you pick up where you left off, without losing your answers.
-
A single attempt
Submit the test when you are ready: it is marked automatically, once and for all.
Eighty questions, one square each
Every question is single choice: one correct answer out of four options. A common core opens the test, followed by one section per track.
Common core
Governance and incident management
Application security
Network and systems security
Allow about eighty minutes in total, in one sitting or over several sessions. Answer honestly, without looking things up: accurate guidance will earn you training that is genuinely useful.
How it works
-
Register
Identity, staff number, administration and region: your account is ready in a few minutes. Already registered? Choose “I am already registered”.
-
Take the test
Work through it section by section and go back to an answer if needed. Your answers are saved as you go.
-
See your recommendations
As soon as you submit, the test is marked automatically and you get one recommendation for each of the three tracks.
-
Join the in-person training
The trainer uses your recommendations to organise the training and adapt it to your level.
Three possible paths, for each track
Your result is not a grade but guidance for the trainer: in each track, the test points you towards one of the following three paths.
- Foundation training
- To revisit the fundamentals of the track and consolidate the essentials.
- Standard path
- To deepen skills that are already solid and put them into practice.
- Expert deep-dive
- To go further on the advanced topics of the track.
It is perfectly normal to get different paths from one track to another: that is exactly what allows the training to be tailored to each person.
Your questions, answered
Can I stop part-way through?
Yes. Your answers are saved as you go. Come back whenever you like with the Resume my test
button on this page: you carry on from where you stopped.
Will I see my score?
No. The test is not a pass-or-fail exam and gives you no score: for each of the three tracks, you receive a recommended path.
Can I retake the test?
No, the test is taken only once. Until you submit it, you can still change your answers; once submitted, it is marked and your recommendations are final.
Which device should I use?
The test runs in a web browser at certif.patnucelearning.cm/app, with nothing to install. A computer is the most comfortable for eighty questions, but a tablet or phone also works. The questions are in French.
I started on another device. How do I continue?
On the welcome screen, choose I am already registered
and identify yourself with the details you gave when registering: your test is waiting where you left it.
What are my recommendations used for?
They allow the trainer to organise the in-person training around everyone's needs. The programme also draws aggregate statistics from them, which cannot identify you. See the privacy policy.
