1. Purpose
These terms of use (the “Terms”) govern access to and use of the PATNUC Cyber IT platform (the “Platform”), available at certif.patnucelearning.cm. By using the Platform, you accept these Terms.
2. Publisher and official sources
The Platform is published by ITS, a private company specialising in information protection, IT security and cryptology, under contract No. 017/MINPOSTEL/PATNUC/UGP/CCCM/CSPM/SPM/SJPM/2026 with the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications (MINPOSTEL), as part of the PATNUC project and with World Bank support.
ITS is not a government entity and does not represent the Cameroonian public administration. The Platform is an educational guidance tool: it issues no administrative document, certificate or certification, grants no statutory entitlement and replaces no procedure with a public service.
Official sources for the programme:
- MINPOSTEL — www.minpostel.gov.cm
- PATNUC — www.patnuc.cm
- World Bank, project P173240 — projects.worldbank.org
3. Service description
The Platform has a single purpose: to let IT staff of beneficiary public administrations and institutions take a cybersecurity pre-assessment test before an in-person training. It contains no courses.
- The test has 80 single-choice questions: a common core, then one section per track (governance and incident management, application security, network and systems security).
- It can be taken in one or several sessions; answers are saved as you go.
- It can be submitted only once. Once submitted, it is marked automatically and can no longer be changed.
- The result is one recommendation per track (foundation training, standard path or expert deep-dive). No score is shown to the participant.
The Platform is used in a web browser; no installable app is offered.
4. Registration
Access requires creating a profile (identity, staff number, administration and region). You agree to provide accurate information and keep it up to date. Profiles are personal: each participant registers for themselves.
5. Acceptable use
- Answer the test yourself and honestly: the recommendations are used to organise your training.
- Do not copy, photograph or share the test questions.
- Do not attempt to bypass, disrupt or compromise the security of the service.
6. Intellectual property
The test questions, the brand and the elements of the Platform are protected. They are provided solely for your use within the programme and may not be reproduced or redistributed without authorisation.
7. Personal data
The processing of your data is described in the privacy policy, which we invite you to read.
8. Availability
An Internet connection is required to register and to submit the test. We do not guarantee continuous, error-free availability of the service; an interruption does not lose answers already saved.
9. Scope of the recommendations and liability
The recommendations produced by the test are educational guidance used to organise the in-person training. They are neither a professional appraisal nor a certification of skills.
The Platform is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, the publisher shall not be liable for indirect damages arising from its use.
10. Changes to the Terms
These Terms may change. The version in force is the one published on this page.
